My name is Ronan Schieffer and I’m from Shoreview, Minnesota.

I’m a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production.

While at Stout I quickly found a passion for VFX and Motion Graphics. I love animating quick and flashy animations and compositing scenes together to create that special “movie magic” that leaves viewers wondering how you managed to create it.

One of my favorite aspects of VFX and Motion Graphics is trying to reverse engineer an effect/animation that I’ve seen in a movie or online and integrating my own version of it into one of my own projects.

While post-production is my primary focus, I also have experience in directing, producing, camera operation, lighting, and audio recording - giving me a well-rounded understanding of the video production process from start to finish.

Right now, I’m focused on growing my experience, collaborating with creative people, and continuing to improve my craft.

When I’m not in the editing bay I enjoy keeping up with and watching the Minnesota Timberwolves/Vikings. I also love 80s thrash metal and collecting/painting an absurb amount of Warhammer and Lord of The Rings models.
